Our Programs
C-MAS Quiz
Competence Mathematics and Science Quiz Competition is an annual competition of three progressive stages. This program aims at building and testing the mathematical, Science and Innovative Technology IQ of students, while we decorate the best students with handsome awards and appreciate the teachers who prepared them also.
De-Explorers
This is a 17-month rigorous mock exam for junior secondary school students to enhance early preparation and build examination confidence. The target students for this program are JSS 1 and JSS 2 students, as the program will last till they are ushered into JSS 2 and JSS 3 respectively. The Subjects to be considered are MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH LANGUAGE, BASIC TECHNOLOGY, BASIC SCIENCE, DATA PROCESSING & HOME MANAGEMENT. Please follow updates for examination dates
De-Spectacles
De-Spectacles is also a 17-month (April-August) program with a monthly rigorous (external standard) examination and assessment exercise. Here students are expected to register only six key subjects of their interest as it relates to their careers. All topics in these subjects are arranged in sequence (by experts in the various subjects) and divided into 17 months, as their monthly target topic. Students are to prepare (in series) for each month on the topics that appear in the MONTHLY TARGET SCHEDULE (MTS), not leaving the previous month’s topics behind, while preparing for the subsequent months. The target students for this program are the SS1 and SS2 students, but most especially the SS1 students as this project promises to mold them up very well from their early days in senior secondary school and give them the required confidence for the future SSCE exams and other A-Level exams. We must say that only students who have made up their mind against any form of exam-malpractice can be focused to finish this preparatory training program. There are Six (6) categories for this project where student are to select the category that best describe the blend of the career choice.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (De-Finale)
De-Spectacles is a 4-month rigorous mock examination for those who are already approaching their SSCE examinations rigorous (external standard) examination and assessment exercise. Here students are expected to register only seven (7) key subjects of their interest as it relates to their careers choice. At this stage it is expected that a diligent student must have finished his studies in each of the subject choice and should revising his/her notes. We must also say that only students who have made up their mind against any form of exam malpractice can be focused to go through these mock exercises. From experience students who go through these mock exercises are very certain to ace their external examinations. There are also Six (6) categories for this project where student are to select the category that best describe the blend of the career choice.

About the Convener
Dr. Obinichi Mandah C. (Ph.D. Mathematics) is a distinguished mathematician, educator, author, and examiner with over 15 years of experience working with renowned examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO, and IGCSE. He currently serves as the convener of Competence Examination and Assessment Consults (CEA Consults), a premier educational consulting firm dedicated to enhancing examination readiness and academic excellence.
His journey in academia and leadership has been defined by a passion for mathematics and an unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation through quality education and innovation.
Born and raised in a family that valued education, he developed an early interest in mathematics, a field that challenged and inspired him to think critically and solve problems creatively. This passion propelled him to pursue my first degree in Mathematics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated with honors. He went on to earn a Master’s degree at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan Nigeria and further deepening his understanding of this fascinating subject. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, marking the realization of a lifelong dream to contribute to the field at the highest levels.
Dr. Mandah is also a prolific author, with several notable publications to his name, including: Fundamentals of Calculus, Fundamentals of Basic Mathematics, Functions Trigonometry, and Geometry, among others.
These works reflect his deep understanding of mathematics and his commitment to simplifying complex concepts for learners of all levels. His books are widely recognized for their practical approach and have been instrumental in helping students build a solid foundation in mathematics.
His professional career began with teaching, where he quickly discovered his gift for simplifying complex mathematical concepts and inspiring students to achieve their best. He has so far put in twenty-two years in his teaching/mentoring career and still counting.
As a Senior Lecturer, he has had the privilege of shaping countless young minds, fostering a love for learning, and encouraging students to reach their full potential. Beyond the classroom, he has contributed to academic research, presenting papers at conferences and publishing in reputable journals.
Dr. Mandah’s extensive experience in the field of education has positioned him as a leading authority on examination standards and practices. In 2017, he founded Competence Examination and Assessment Consults (CEA Consults), a firm dedicated to transforming how students prepare for external examinations.
At CEA Consults, he leads a team committed to preparing students for external exams through rigorous internal assessments that mirror global standards. Their mission is simple yet profound: to ensure students excel in their academic pursuits by equipping them with the tools, skills, and mindset for success.
